Ask everyone to pick their favorite poem ahead of time and offer people the opportunity to read the poems they felt most connected to.

Have a gathering (backyard party, sweatpants and snacks party, picnic, etc.) with few copies of the book. Let people peruse and put sticky notes on the pages they feel drawn to. Have a time where a book is passed around and other people can read out loud the poems that someone else tagged.

Pick a poem and have a themed dinner party around the poem.

Example: "Marriage of Friends"
We never get formal occasions to celebrate  the beautiful lifelong commitment of friendship. Use this dinner as an opportunity for one.

For growing and blossoming community. Invite 3- 4 friends who you think would love the poetry themes. Have each of them bring 1-2 friends.
